Slack Integration
Real-time notifications and team collaboration
The Slack integration lets your AI agents send real-time notifications to your team channels, direct messages to specific users, and even receive commands via slash commands.
β¨ What You Can Do
Setup Guide
Go to Integrations
Navigate to your Dashboard β Integrations page and find Slack.
Click "Connect Slack"
Click the connect button to start the OAuth flow. You'll be redirected to Slack.
Authorize the App
Select your Slack workspace and authorize Inteliworks to access it. We request only the permissions needed:
Requested Permissions:
- β chat:write - Send messages to channels
- β channels:read - View channel list
- β users:read - View user list for DMs
- β files:write - Upload file attachments
Select Your Channel
Choose which channel should receive notifications. You can always change this later or use different channels for different agents.

When your Lead Qualification Agent processes a new lead:

Troubleshooting
Messages not appearing in my channel
- Make sure the Inteliworks app is added to the channel (type /invite @Inteliworks)
- Check that the correct channel is selected in your agent settings
- Verify the integration is still connected in Dashboard β Integrations
Getting "channel_not_found" error
This usually means the channel is private and the app hasn't been invited. Either:
- Use a public channel instead
- Invite the app to your private channel
How do I disconnect Slack?
Go to Dashboard β Integrations β Slack and click "Disconnect". You can also revoke access from Slack's app management page.
